The interior of the Hoffman kiln is pided into several kiln chambers. When used, the bricks will be arranged in several rows, and the coal inlets above will be avoided. The brick kiln burner makes the coal inlets face the gap between the rows. (Commonly known as Fire Road). After the bricks are lined up, they will catch fire in the first kiln room, and then burned down one by one. Unless there is a major problem such as floods or long rainy seasons, there will be almost no ceasefire. Each kiln room will repeat the kiln in order. , Drying, preheating, kiln firing, heat preservation, cooling, kiln discharge and other processes. Before there is a fire, five kiln chambers can be filled with bricks. One kiln chamber can hold about 2000 bricks. The kiln rooms will be separated by newspapers or kraft paper boxes. Except for the first kiln room that caught fire, the kiln doors of other kiln rooms with coke burners in the brick factory will be completely blocked with bricks. After the fire starts, the bricks can be loaded into the next kiln one after another. Generally, it takes about a day for a Hoffman kiln burner to burn in one kiln room, and only one or two kiln rooms are burning at the same time, and the kiln room where the fire is going to pass will first let the hot exhaust gas flow after combustion. After preheating and drying, the kiln room that has been burnt will enter the insulation state and then gradually cool down. It takes about 15 days from entering the kiln to leaving the kiln. Generally speaking, leaving the kiln is done after the cooling is completed, but sometimes when the supply of bricks is in short supply, workers will go in to 'rob the kiln' before the bricks are completely cooled. .
